Judy Spark is a Glasgow born artist now based on the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. Through her visual art practice and written work she explores the gaps and overlaps that reside within contemporary human experience in relation to the natural world. On Skye, she informs her practice through her involvement in the creation and development of coastal gardens and also through natural woodland management. Judy presently teaches into the BA Fine Art at Moray School of Art, Elgin. She held the post of lecturer in Contemporary Art Practice at Gray's School of Art, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen between 2006 and 2016.

Nature, phenomenology, technology, Buddhist/Zen practices, indigenous experience, energy, environmentalism, drawing, writing, poetry, sound, acoustic ecology, radio, electromagnetic fields.
